As we all know that Water is one of the earth’s most abundant resources covering about 2/3 of the planet’s surface, still there is surplus growth in the demand for fresh water as most of it is salinated water.

Hence there is a growing need for desalination of water. The desalination industry is mostly dominated by Reverse Osmosis (RO), multistage flash distillation (MSF) and other thermal distillation processes which include multi-effect evaporation (MEE) and mechanical vapour compression (MVC).
The current processes are less efficient, hereby there is a need to improve the desalination techniques to cope with the demand.

Therefore, we introduce an efficient way to improve the existing desalination technique using Membrane filtration technology, Customized membrane properties help manipulate the filtration process exactly as per the situation at hand.

Membranes are capable of forming a perfect barrier when dealing with liquids and gasses. They can effectively separate organic solvent from water and remove water from a gas mixture to an exceptional level. They have even been proved to stop helium, the hardest gas to block.
A single layer of atoms that can act as a perfect barrier has the potential to open up vast new markets and revolutionize countless industrial processes.
We fabricated a hybrid process for water desalination, employing tailored membrane composition and conditions.
Aiming to relieve water of the excess salts and microbes, we also designed a packed bed filter containing a human friendly tubes which traps harmful microbes. There is polymer that is used to hold the membrane in place. The polymer offers control over certain other properties like ion content and the metals .Manipulation of physical states of water to improve the efficiency, which produces potable water economically & effectively.

The World is Facing its Biggest Pandemic in this Century. The outbreak of it has lead to many unwanted deaths. Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus.
The coming two weeks are the most crucial weeks in the history of our country, this is the time for the disease to do community spread.
We at Aojal Technology are trying to stop the community spread of this virus by introducing DIY Public Disinfection Booths, which are easy to install & can be placed at the places of public encounter.
This is a cubical structure constructed using PVC Pipes. It is a DIY frame which is easy to assemble and use in public places as complete body sanitizer.
This can be used by those who are encountering public places and are on duty to fight against corona like Doctors, Police, Cleaners, Transport vehicles and also for those who are going outside to buy daily necessities.
This is Traffic Police Shelter Box which are currently unused due to lock-down
They can temporarily be used as public disinfecting boxes, it is really easy to modify and use in public places as complete body sanitizer.
This can also be used by those who are encountering public places and are on duty to fight against corona like Police, Cleaners and also for those who are going outside to buy daily necessities.

Vishrut Goswami, the Founder & CEO of Aojal Technology is a student Innovator & Techopreneur pursuing his Bachelors in Architecture from NIT Calicut who was a participant of the Proof of Concept Contest by IIC-MHRD’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, his team was one among the 24 student teams from all over India who got shortlisted in the Idea pitching held at the AICTE Head Quarters in New Delhi and were awarded funding for there innovation i.e. Aojal Desalination System to build into a industrial product. He was also Winner of YIP 2019-22, by KDISC-KSUM and are amongst top 102 teams from all over Kerala, Funded by IEDC for his product
His Start-up named Aojal Technology is incubated by TBI NITC as budding Techo start-up. There vision is to provide society Safe Technology in this era of industrialization, currently they are working on producing potable water from saline water referred as Aojal Water Purifiers and some small community problems. His vision is to help society with his new innovations and serve them for the best.
